Field and context

Liza lies in the Stabroek Block on the continental slope of the Guyana–Suriname Basin. It is a giant Late Cretaceous deep-water clastic accumulation containing high-quality oil-bearing sandstone reservoirs. Phase 1 develops the field through four seabed drill centres, combining oil-production wells with water and gas injection around the central FPSO.
