Field and context

The Eldfisk field produces oil and gas from Late Cretaceous and early Paleocene chalk in the Hod, Tor and Ekofisk Formations. Discovery in 1970 led to a multi-platform development including A (wellhead/process), B (PDQ) and FTP, with later facilities for water injection and centralised processing.
