Field and context

The Prelude and Concerto accumulations lie in the Caswell Sub-basin of the northern Browse Basin, approximately 475 kilometres north-north-east of Broome. Gas and condensate occur principally in Early Cretaceous deep-water sandstone reservoirs of the Brewster Member, Upper Vulcan Formation, with additional resources in Jurassic Plover Formation sandstones. The large development uses subsea wells connected directly to a single floating processing and liquefaction host.
