Field and context

Payara and Pacora lie in the deep-water Stabroek Block of the Guyana–Suriname Basin. Both discoveries encountered high-quality oil-bearing sandstone reservoirs. The large combined development uses ten seabed drill centres connected to Prosperity, with producing wells supported by water and gas injection. It is physically separate from the neighbouring Liza developments but follows a similar subsea-to-FPSO concept.
