Field and context

The Cygnus gas field lies in the Southern North Sea Basin and produces gas from Permian Leman Sandstone reservoirs. Discovered in 1988, it is one of the largest gas developments in the UK southern sector and was developed using multiple fixed platforms and subsea infrastructure.
