Field and context

The Clipper gas field in the Sole Pit area of the southern North Sea produces from Lower Permian Leman Sandstone reservoirs. Operational since 1990, the complex receives gas from local wells and satellite fields, processing and exporting via the Clipper pipeline to the Bacton Gas Terminal for entry into the UK gas market.
