Field and context

Ravenspurn South is a Permian sandstone gas field in the Southern North Sea, discovered in 1983 and first produced in 1989. The field lies mainly in Block 42/30 (extending into 42/29 and 43/26) and is developed with multiple small platforms tied into the Cleeton hub. Recoverable gas reserves are significant on a regional basis.
