Field and context

The Valiant gas field is a Southern North Sea Rotliegendes sandstone gas accumulation discovered ~1970-71, developed in the late 1980s. The field comprises related sub-areas (North and South Valiant, Vanguard, Vulcan) producing dry gas that is exported via the LOGGS system to Theddlethorpe onshore.
