Field and context

The Garrow field, in Blocks 42/25a and 43/21a of the Southern North Sea, produces dry gas from Rotliegend sandstone reservoirs discovered in 1991. Production began in 2007 with two wells drilled from the Garrow platform. Gas was routed to Kilmar then to the Trent complex for export, but export closure in 2020 led to field shutdown and decommissioning applications.
